So the moral of the story is that it's okay to break rules?

Especially if no one can "prove" you broke them.

Sounds a lot like the thinking of the kids I spent time with in my Behavioral Disorder class, frankly.

No, but it's just not a big deal.
100% innocent until 100% proven guilty.

Yeah, what's a little dishonesty in sport anyway? It's just a game, get over it. You're just jealous because you lost. So what if a few guys took steroids to make them faster? Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

LOL...and the winning is? Oh wait, the same country from the last amount of XX games. [humor] Yet, no government compulsion to have children be reared in any given sports.

Complusion - reminds of Lucifer's plan in the pre-mortal council.

Speculation is what leads us to questioning about their age. It is called freedom of speach. You can bet if Shawn Johnson was 13 years old, China would be protesting. Like I said, the rules are there, and if China knowingly put people into the olympics and get caught, then they deserve to have the medals stripped and must accept all other consequences as punishment. We do have a right to speculate. Once the IOC concludes it's investigation, we must accept the findings of it, no matter what.

I agree that unity should be a part of the Olympics, but so should good sportsmanship. Lying/cheating is not. I don't agree with the age limit. I think the best competitors should be there, but they have a rule and I think it should be followed.

The Olympics are over now, this will be swept under the rug. If they are even found to be liars, I don't expect them to be stripped of their medals. It's all about influence and money.

If it's not a big deal, then why the big deal about people looking into it?
