There a good saying in Russia:
"The grass is always greener on the other side of the land! "
But here is a trick, as soon as you get to the other side the grass become greener on the side where you came from!

You forgot to add while driving their cars, putting on makeup and talking on their cell phones.
I have been impressed with Miss Finland and Aruba in the past.
What about the girls of BYU?

As for Lordi do you mean they are beautiful before or after the makeup?

Lordi is beautiful after the makeup....
(just to clarify...I dont really care too much for them. It is a pretty good joke though...)
There are smal Finnish Ugrian groups all over from Finland to Ural to Hungary. Mostly these groups havelivedisolatede from other peopleand some have even managed to save the language to these days. Many of them were spread around by russians.
Nowadays teh finnish endings are nen, mo, la. In is an old ending that nowadays is turned to nen. like before a surename was Hokkain...now it is Hokkanen. That in could aseasily have come from russia.... (but I am no language-expert)
Yes Sweish moved to Russia...btwmany from Germany moved too around 1800-1900 like my greatgrandmothers family Engelheart, whom I have not found anything...

So in reality Putin's ancestors were actually Finns! Swedes were asked by the Slavs to come in and establish government and trade around a thousand years ago. When I was in Novgorod (the one south of St. Petersburg) I could see the strength of the Swedish genetic influence on the population. Of course, once you get to places like Ivanovo you don't see nearly as many people who look Scandinavian.
Swedes also contributed to St. Petersburg after the Battle of Poltova in which Sweden was defeated and lost most of their territory to Russia. Swedish war prisoners were used as slaves but from my understanding they could send for their families to join in the building of St. Petersburg. Many stayed after they were granted their freedom.

I have to agree. What good is it when we married someone of perfect skin, perfect body dimension but lacks eternal goals.

My son an I went to Conference in SLC in the fall. While in line to enter the conference center we had a chance to chat with 2 sister missionaries; one from Brazil one from Switzerland. The later was a convert of 3 years and we had a chance to share our life's stories. She shared a very profound and solid testimony of the Gospel and the Restoration.
My son is 13 and said to me: "Dad, I want to marry a girl like that one day."
Yeah, she was good looking but I think he was impressed with the spiritual depth that she articulated.
