My friends are having a luau (sp?) and were asking if I have any good Hawaiian recipes. I don't. Do you?

I have an Hawaiian Spare Rib recipe and an Island Pineapple Chicken recipe...is that what you would want?

COCONUT PUDDING
2 cups coconut milk
1 cup whole milk
6 Tbls sugar
5 Tbls cornstarch
1/4 tsp vanilla (optional)
Pour one cup of coconut milk into a saucepan. Combine sugar and cornstarch stirring into coconut milk. (Add vanilla if desired)
Heat over low, stirring consistently until thickened.
Add remainder of coconut milk and whole milk and continue to heat until thickened.
Pour into 8 inch square pan and chill until firm.

~~~~~~~~~~~ Hawaiian Spare Ribs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4 lbs. ribs cut into 2" pieces
1/2 c brn. sugar; packed
1/2 c soy sauce
1/4 c vinegar
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 can pineapple tidbits
1 Tbls cornstarch
Put ribs, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, & garlic in large pot.
Cook uncovered over medium heat.
After ribs are browned, lower heat.
Turn ribs often. Cook for 45 min>1 hour.
remove ribs to platter.
Drain off grease; pour remaining gravy into smaller pot.
Mix cornstarch and pineapple juice.
Heat gravy; add cornstarch/juice mixture.
Stir often until gravy thickens.
Pour gravy over ribs; garnish with bits of pineapple (to taste).
~~~~~~~~Approx. 6>8 servings~~~~~~~~~

1 can (8 oz) pineapple chunks in heavy syrup
2 lbs chicken pieces
2 Tbls shortening
1 can Campbell's Chicken Broth
1/4 c vinegar
2 Tbls brown. sugar
2 tsp soy sauce
1 lg (minced) clove of garlic
1 med. green pepper, cut into squares
3 Tbls cornstarch
1/4 c H2O
Drain pineapple chunks, reserving syrup.
In skillet, brown chicken in shortening; pour off fat.
Add reserved syrup, broth, vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic.
Cover.
Cook over low heat approx. 40 minutes.
Add green pepper and pineapple chunks; cook 5 minutes more/or until done.
Stir occasionally.
Combine cornstarch and H2O; gradually stir in sauce.
Cook, stirring until thickened.
Serve over rice.
