The best Anti-Mormon story of all time -- I'm going to have to retell it from memory unfortunately -- involves a woman who went to Salt Lake City to investigate the Mormons.

So she gathers up her courage and decides to find out what is really going on in the Temple. So she sneaks past the armed guards and finds her way down into the basement, where all the babies are sacrificed. It was here that she accidentally tripped an alarm. In a desperate attempt to escape the guards who are in pursuit (and who intend to kill her), she flees upstairs to the highest level, runs through the orgy-room (which she describes in some detail), throws open the window and makes a daring escape diving out of the Salt Lake Temple, into the Great Salt Lake.

I've always been impressed with ANYONE who can jump 14 miles!!! Even if she doesn't like my religion, she can be on any Olympic team I organize ANYTIME!!

Are you saying ninety-eight of the population is anti-Mormon?

Are you also saying a "stastistical expert" told you this?

If so, has it occured to you that is impossible?

I had to do a report on different religions as part of an interviewing and information gathering exercise. in a typical Christian Chat room, like the ones found in Yahoo, you will find that some people, typically Christians themselves, feel as if that if you don't memorize certain passages, you aren't "Christian" enough. Christian enough for what exactly? I don't know. There seems to be three groups, non-Christians, Christians, and "false" Christians.

Isn't this a black and white perspective of the US?

Speaking of that, if you want to break all records for "longest thread" on an non-LDS Christian website, just post a thread entitled, "Why is Mormonism False?" and watch the posts come rolling in. I've seen this happen and the Mormon thread was over 100 pages last I checked it. Many many times longer than any other thread on that forum. In a morbid way, I found that to be absolutely hilarious.

I don't buy into the whole, "I'm more Christianer that you!" nonsense, so I can't answer your question.

To answer your question, consider the following:
I'm 50% black, 50% mexican, 50% jewish, 50% polish, 50% spanish, 50% english, 50% chinese and 50% tongan, 50% scottish, 50% irish, and 14% french canadian.

What am I?

100% facetious.

This thread contains the funny. The funny doesn't need to be serious. The funny doesn't need to make sense. The funny keeps us sane. PRAISE THE FUNNY!!

First, let me translate the quote. "If you're wrong in what you believe, then it matters not that you are the best, most loyal wrong person you can be, even if I'm very mediocre in following the right, I'm more right than you are."

On the surface that sorta makes partial sense (please note the heavy doses of equivication here!!!). On the other hand, "To whom much is given, much is required." Paul was passionately wrong, but God could use that honest passion! On the other hand, what to say of those who received the gospel, quickly grew, but then withered because of lack of good roots? And, what of those who actually got a good foundation, but allowed the concerns of this world to crowd out the effectiveness of the Gospel in their lives?

I'd still rather be right than wrong, but God also cares about what we put into it...that's for sure. And yeah, in print, the "anti's" comment is less than humble and compassionate.
