How come KSL broadcasts on Sundays? And how come the Deseret News is published on Sundays.

So do you think that KSL which is a NBC affiliate should just shut down the airwaves on Sundays?

And some good members work on Sundays, and I'm glad they do, as then we wouldn't have some governmental services provided then. They would just stop, as if we were Jewish or something... ((by the way, that wasn't meant to be condescending or demeaning in any way))

So tell us Helen, are you accusing those people and companies of hypocracy? DesNews is a subsidiary of the Deseret Mgt Corporation, owned by the church. Are you accusing the church of hypocracy?

If so, please state it clearly so we can respond. It's a waste of time to dance around with vague rhetoric and shadowy innuendo.

I know lots of LDS doctors, police officers, nurses, firemen, etc that work on Sunday and I am glad that they do.

What was that reference to mote in their eye and beam in your eye?

I worry about my Sabbath day observance and not about others.

Does the church give out a copy to each kid when they join yw/ym? kinda like they do the faith in God pamphlet?

When does the church include this in the Sunday lessons? Does it happen with the 11/12 yr olds or is it not a primary thing?

Our stake gives them to the YW/YM when they enter Mutual.

I know we teach from it at various times in YW. I used to teach 12-13 y/o SS and I would use it as a reference.

I've never worked in Primary, so I'm not sure if/when it is taught there.
