I had the idea of starting this topic a few minutes ago, as Seminary, for me, starts tomorrow.

Although some of us have already had Seminary (onelowerlight) and some of us haven't (Lolgirl, have you?), I thought we could all benefit from putting up some of our favorite scriptures or scripture mastery's and discussing them and their meanings. Sorta of a toned down version of the Discussion Board, if you will.

To start, I'll post one of my favorite scriptures (non-mastery) in The Book of Mormon.

Jacob 3:1-2
1 But behold, I, Jacob, would speak unto you that are pure in heart. Look unto God with firmness of mind, and pray unto him with exceeding faith, and he will console you in your afflictions, and he will plead your cause, and send down justice upon those who seek your destruction.
2 O all ye that are pure in heart, lift up your heads and receive the pleasing word of God, and feast upon his love; for ye may, if your minds are firm, forever.

I take a lot of comfort in this verse. It helps with some of the things I go through at school when other kids make fun of me for not being 'normal' (a.e. - Not drinking, smoking, engaging in premarital sex, etc.).

What do you guys think? Please participate!?
