Default Priesthood for Mormon Men of Every Race

The Mormon Church has created a new video to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' action in June 1978 to extend its lay priesthood to men of all races.

YouTube - Priesthood for Mormon Men of Every Race

This is such a wonderful video to celebrate the 30th anniversary of such an important event in Church history. Please embed it in your websites and blogs. This is perfect for blogging about, discussing in forums, and forward along to others.

That was beautiful. I loved the remark. "There is a sweet spirit when you put racism aside."

It's really hard for me to think that there was a time in the Church when every worthy male was not able to hold the priesthood. Considering this happened when I was only 6 months old, I guess that's understandable.

Suddenly I don't feel so young anymore.

This video just hit #1 for the search term "mormon" on youtube. Just amazing! I wondered if we would ever see a good mormon video in the top spot. Thanks to everyone who forwarded that video along and supported it. Keep up the good work so it will stay there.
