These three guys sound amazing! I really want to take it and make a music video out of it:

I've been so touched by this song that I made it a part of my profile. My wife has a ukulele and my new mission in life is to be able to play this song.
![]() Here's a good article about the author of the song and his experience including the lyrics (for you, Truegrits), though they seem different from the above video. Maybe those guys added a few. I like the version in the first post better. The tempo and harmonizing is better but the one in the following link is nice, too. Mormon Times - Missionaries inspire members through song

Thanks. I loved reading the lyrics. (I prefer the written word over audio.) I agree with you, that the original version with the three singers was better.

The more I dig, the more I think that the three guys are singing their own harmonized version with the added verse about Joseph Smith. I believe the two Elders in the news article are singing the original version, or at least closest to it. A word or two might be off.

I have the original on a CD... and yeah, the ones in the youtube video are singing their own version. I love this song, btw. I never knew who it was by because it's on a CD I copied from a friend.
