The godmakes video has been around a while. I remember about 15 or more years ago I was talking to a non member who had seen it and he told me that what the movie showed was not anything like what he know about the Mormon people. I agree that negative things make our true doctrine all the more convincing. We need to remember this work (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) is in the hands of the Lord and has been restored for the last time upon the earth never to be taken again. This work will prevail against all efforts to stop it by the adversary or those determined to do so.

I met Ed Decker after Robert L. & Rosemary Browns They Lie In Wait To Deceive came out. He was at Cornerstone Worship Center in Nampa, Idaho giving one of his fun filled lectures. I asked him during the question and answer time about the book. He said it was slander. He accused his wife of immoral activity with an LDS missionary i kid you not.

Jim Spencer was lecturing with him. I got an auto-graph of both men in my copy of Spencer's Have You Witnessed To A Mormon Lately. I told Mr. Spencer i would have to go home and get into the word. I did not tell him i was thinking about the Book of Mormon.

No-one I know give you-tube any credibility, they'd rather find out from reliable sources.

29 April 2008 notes: there are much afoot here within a few forums, as if they follow the same model as former apostates name, Sherem, Korihor, and Nehor. Notable fallen apostates of the early BOM churches who in turned became Anti-Christs [deceivers and liars].

THIS IS GREAT!! I really hope a lot of people read this!!

Also, I think it would be a great idea if you have a webcam, or digital camera or ANY video recording device to record your own testimony or a compilation of testimonies like those that are on Mormon.org then upload that and tag it with tags like "Mormons, LDS, Church, testimony, beliefs" etc...

That way we can overwhelm those who post anti-mormon videos and make it so that testimonies of the church come at the top of those searches instead of anti-mormon videos!

I'm gonna give that a little more thought. Maybe there's a good way to streamline it.

and by the way, when you do upload those videos, disable the comments. That way those who get on just to be rude won't be able to do anything there.

Thanks Heather--good suggestions.

Although I normally just totally ignore what the antis say--there's little point in arguing with brick walls--on occasion I will speak out with the hope that an honest seeker will find it helpful. Your suggestions are good because it allows us to support the Church without engaging in contention, and we can just let the Church speak for itself with embedded videos.

Thanks again!

DH
