It would be speculation at this point....it was a suggestion made. We have seen changes in the past [1996] suggestion given to President Hinckley and through revelation, added three additional quorums to the Seventies to replace the Regional Seventies and have local leadership, maintain there current jobs and yet fill the necessary roles as Seventies. The local Area Seventies are still under the Seven Presidents.

Remember, the church grinds slowly as to be flexible with current global culture changes.

Smile Caravan moves on......

"The church is like a great caravan-organized,prepared, following an appointed course, with its captains of ten and captains of hundreds all in place. What does it matter if a few barking dogs snap at the heals of the weary travelers. Or that predators claim those few that fall by the way? The caravan moves on. Is their a ravine to cross, a miry mud hole to pull through,a steep grade to climb? So be it. The oxen are strong and the teamsters wise. The caravan moves on. Are there storms that rage along the way, floods that wash away the bridges, deserts to cross and rivers to ford? Such is life in this fallen sphere. The caravan moves on.Ahead is the celestial city, the Eternal Zion of our God, where all who maintain their position in the caravan shall find food and drink and rest. Thank God that the caravan moves on!" - [B]Bruce R. McConkie Nov. 1984

Default Hi Heather

Yesterday evening I try to find a mormonvideo from lds9999 by google. However all I find was a protesting group that the church has banned a hate-video.
What is that? Every day some youtubes dissappear for juridical reasons. Nobody cares. Only when the church defends our rights then people cry about their rights telling their opinion. When I post a video with my opinion about the playboy magazine in a manner like the mormon hate videos then it is not enough for playboy to make me remove the video. Then they would bring me before a court of justice.

For example a video of Reinhard Mey. I love his songs. Espacially Dr. Sägebarg und Dr. Hein. Mey however did not agree. He let remove that video. It is his right to let remove videos conserning him. I am very sad about. However that is the law.

I have been reading this thread with some interest. Mainly as I am as you would call a ''invesigator'' of the church. soon to be member. From my experiance I have never felt the lessons 'controlling' in any way, also I have looked at just about all the 'anti-mormon' stuff out their. I did it to make my own informed decsion on the teachings of the church. My finidngs are that I really do not care anymore about what I hear cause I know from looking at both sides of the coin that the church has something that I have never seen or felt before in this way HOLY SPIRIT. My conclusion is, if anyone wants to know for themselves about church history etc they can and will find it out no matter what anyone says, or are we to blame the church for not 'spoon feeding' them? If peole want to go down the road of getting baptized and then falling away because of in my opoin getting a bee in their bonet about something cause they could not be bothered finding out for themsleves before hand then im sorry but I would really question why they got baptized in the first place.
