jello salad
I feel bad defining this delicious treat as a "salad"...but in any event this is a quick and easy side dish or a welcome dish at a pot luck.

1 small package of any flavor jello you so desire. Cherry is my personal favorite.
10 ounces Cool Whip-thawed
6 ounces cottage cheese

Hand mix all ingredients and enjoy!

Also, canned or fresh fruit or mini marshmallows make great mix-ins!

secret ingredient
I never would have guessed the "secret" ingredient that I could never quite figure out in this dish was cottage cheese.  I will have to try this one out soon.
