Does Your Diet Affect Mood?

Yes!  Your diet affects your mood.  How can you help yourself?

*Try to balance carbs and proteins at each meal.

*Caffeine exacerbates anxiety attacks.

*Dehydration can exacerbate anxiety.

*Omega-3's can help stablize mood.  Ask a nutritionist for guidance on dosage or follow package instructions.  Buy from a reputable dealer.

*Melatonin can help with sleep.  Again, seek professional advice for dosage information.

*Keep the refrigerator stocked with fresh fruit slices, veggies , hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and cheese stack for easy to eat snacks on the run.

Please share your tips for nutritional snacks in the postpartum period.
