Kicking the habit can be tough when we feel alone.

Addictions KILL! A full 50% of individuals suffering from addicition will die directly or indirectly as a result of their addicition. It doesn't matter if you're Catholic, Mormon, Budist or the president. If you want to keep your sobrity you must be willing to give what you have. Service to others is the only way to keep what you have. In doing so, we find the strength to face our own stuggles. As Latter-Day-Saints we are required to refrain from addictive substances. This can be a tall order from time to time. When we are new to the church, it seems we have many habits to give-up that, we may have never even considered a problem. We knew they were, "bad" for us but, they caused us no moral conflict. All that changed the day we were Baptized. Dealing with any addiction can be tough, doing it alone can seem impossible. People need a place to speak about such matters; a place to share with others struggling with the same sort of issues who, have common beliefs. Take a chance; be willing to help another with their stuggle by sharing what has worked for you.
