Anything by Allison Weir, including Elizabeth I, The Wives of Henry VIII, Isabella of France, Eleanor of Aquitaine, etc. I also love David McCullough's books, including the one on John Adams. Currently I'm working on a biography of Alexander Hamilton. I find the stories behind the history that shaped the world we live in today absolutely fascinating.

I love classical music; I find it very calming. But I also enjoy clean music from the seventies and eighties, as well as clean country music (contemporary and classic).

My favorites include Independence Day, Cinderella Man, Men of Honor, anything Star Trek or Star Wars, Steel Magnolias, Broken Trail, Lonesome Dove, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Negotiator, Fun With ##### and Jane, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and more. I love westerns where the bad guys get their just rewards, scifi, and comedy.

I'm 45 and married to a wonderful man. I'm also proud to be a nerd. I love reading biographies, sewing, hiking, gardening, and classical music. I love working with computer programs, writing code (ColdFusion, VBA, CSS), and building computers. Currently I'm working on a bachelor's degree in Accounting that I began in 1982 and haven't finished yet (marriage and motherhood got in the way for a time).
