I have a Kindle app on my netbook, and read constantly. I also have a membership with Gospelink from Deseret Book. I love having thousands of books available any time I want.

Melissa and I love to sing together. She is learning to play the piano, and I don't play any instrument except my MP3 player. I can generally appreciate any genre of music, with the exception of Hip Hop - that's too harsh for me. I love to listen to great vocalists like Josh Groban, or the Irish Tenors, or, well there are just too many great singers to name - both men and women.

My current all-time favorite movie is "Cowboys and Aliens." Not out till next week, but I know I am going to love it.

Wilderness survival, backpacking.

Melissa and I met at a singles conference in Grand Junction Colorado. 82 days later, we were married. Between us we brought 10 children to the marriage. That was 22 years ago. All of our children are married, and they have blessed us with 25 grandchildren. I am a traveling Physical Therapist Assistant, a new career. Melissa is an RN. We make a contract for 3 months, somewhere in the U.S., transfer our membership to that new ward or branch, and then work hard to serve in as many ways as we can, while we are there. This is a prequel to our missions that we hope to begin soon.
