Hello. My name is Keith. I'm 38 and live in NC. I was raised as a Free Will Baptist. I've been looking into the LDS Church. I have just finished reading Mormonism for Dummies. I am also currently reading The Book of Mormon. I thought this forum would be a great place to learn more and talk with others. I'm trying to figure out if this is right for me.

Hello Keith! My name is Keith also. I was also born and raised as a Baptist and was became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 11 years ago, on 10 March 1998 while on active duty in the United States Navy. I was baptized in Reykjavik Iceland.

I wanted to personally welcome you to LDS.Net and invite you to ask any questions that you might have. We are all friends here and are ready, and willing to help in any way that we can. I read the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price each in their entirety before I was baptized. That is not to say that you have to do that, but it is to say that I am pleased that you are reading and studying the Book of Mormon and earnestly seeking answers. I know that the Lord will truly bless you for this. I would be interesting in reading about some of your thoughts as you read the Book of Mormon so please feel free to share those thought and ask any questions that you might have.

Again, welcome to the site. It is great to have you here.
