Just english! I do want to learn other languages but I just don't seem to get the knack. I've tried a bit of German, Dutch, Russian and French, but with no success. I can perhaps say a tiny amount in French, but thats it!

I do have a collection of translation books for many languages and look at them, hoping for the gift of tongues one day. lol

scripture, mainly non-fiction books, but when I have had opportunity to read I have enjoyed 'A Tale of Two Cities', 'Harry Potter', 'A Pilgrims Progress', 'Jane Ayre', books of learning ... scientific, mathematical, historical,.... about cultures, beliefs, the planet, chemistry, food, disease, Biographies. I'll have to think about the books I've read and come back to this section!

I love music, but different types for different moods of course! I love Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Robbie Williams, Elvis, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Cold Play, Madness,Bon Jovi, Abba, ACDC, Daniel Beddingfield, Celine Dion, .... the music in the charts .... hymns, rhthym and blues, jazz, classical, and the list goes on ... anything except heavy metal!

oooerrr I kind of mentioned that in the video section!

Well, I am a curious cat, and love to learn anything new or try out anything so .... learning new things is one of my hobbies! I collect craft things ... clay, paints, paper, beads, costume jewellery, materials, cottons, wool, patterns, in an attempt that I will sit down with my children and make things with them such as gifts, clothing, etc etc. But the housework never seems to end for those activities to begin! But nevertheless, the things I like to do if I have time are... making friends, reconnecting with family and friends, dancing, exercising, knitting, crocheting, costume jewellery making, reading, studying, learning about the planet, skills, languages, sciences, disease, reading biographies; travelling the world a bit at a time; laughter, hosting, entertaining, cooking, attempting to make clothes!, organising my photo albums, doing my family history, going to the temple and doing family file work, smiling, being spontaneous, collecting interesting books; poetry and trying to write my own; learning to play the piano and reading music; swimming, and a whole bunch more! Not least my children and watching them grow and recording in my journal the things they say and do :)

You must login to see these testimonies.

Sooooo many! I'm quite forgetful of the titles of the movies I have watched, but I really enjoy romantic comedy or movies that have a meaning. I love 'Just Visiting', 'RobinHood the disney version', 'A Beautiful Mind' 'Kate and Leopold', Harry Potter!
'A Cinderella Story', 'Contact', 'Mamma Mia!', 'Shrek', 'The Day After Tomorrow', 'The Aristocrats', 'Sleeping Beauty','The School of Rock', ah, I loved many movies! No Horror though! I was raised on horror and I still have nightmares now about the stuff I watched! I tried to watch 'I am Legend' .. its very good, but scared the life out of me LOL.

I'm many things. I am bubbly, friendly, loving, compassionate and hard working. I love dancing but never get the chance :( and I love music, craft things, making everywhere look colourful and homely. I love company and I love hosting. Also love the Temple, temple work, family history, keeping a journal, keeping in touch with friends and sharing the gospel with all I come in contact with or know. I am fun and spontaneous and extremely young at heart!

I have seven children and have been married for nineteen years. Now there is another side of me where I like to be quiet and contemplate, also have silence and rest where I do nothing at all but recharge my batteries. I suffer with bi-polar and have had depression over many years which is related to my upbringing.

I recently completed a degree so I could maybe have a career in the future... as a teacher. I am at the moment recovering from a breakdown that occured in 2006. I am grateful for Heavenly Fathers love in helping me through. And in the process I went over my life and have been fixing all the things that passed undone. So, I am building myself back up to strength and will be thrilled to be back to my normal self where my house if full of visitors and guests.

I have had a variety of callings... Librarian, sunbeam teacher, nursery leader, primary teacher, Relief Society teacher, ward missionary, Relief Society counsellor, amongst some!

If I can help anyone, I will. My home is open to all. I love Jesus Christ and the gospel. I love the scriptures, I love the Holy Ghost, and I love Heavenly Father. I am nothing without the help of Heaven! Whatever I do, I ask for Heaven's help first! lol. (apart from the times I have been sulking).

Sort of back!  Going through a number of trials at present and glad for friends.  I have to have faith that Heavenly Father will see us through.  I opened the scriptures to Alma 36:3 and it said

" For I do know that whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, and their troubles, and their afflictions, and shall be lifted up at the last day"

I certainly hope that is true as my heart is breaking.

Well, I've learnt alot already on this site, and not least the truth restored group!  Wow, this time from now till this time next year is basically sacred in the Jewish calendar.  And since that calendar was created by God, then it must be special for us all!   Wonder if thats why Thomas S. Monson has just announced a Temple to be built in Kansas City and also in Rome!  How exciting!  Whoop whoop!

Hey all my friends ...

If you are waiting for a reply to a message, please bear with me.  I'm having a pretty traumatic time at the moment and my head hurts too much to write.  I'll get back to you as soon as I can.  Much love, xxxx
