Hi! I just found this forum and joined because I am absolutely BORED and there are no decent places to talk online!!!:p

Just to introduce myself and give you a little history on me: I am 24, will be 25 in April. I have been married since October 2006, and I love my husband more and more every day. When I was growing up, I never really went to church. When I was in 6th grade I met the best friend I've ever had, who also happened to be a member of the church. I started going to church with her on occassion, and after I graduated high school, I was baptized on September 18, 2001. About a month or so after being baptized I became inactive and fell away from the church. I went back occasionally, up until 2005 when I moved from Georgia to Tennessee. At that time, I met my husband, and began going to church with him at a local baptist church. About six months into our dating, we realized where we were headed in life, and that we were in love. At that time, I decided that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, and to do that I would do anything he asked me to. At the time, he didn't believe in anything that the LDS faith believed in, and because I loved him so much, I resigned my membership in the church.

About six months ago, we both found ourselves in a rut in our lives. We were constantly fighting, and to be honest, we were pushing divorce. I told him that there was an emptiness inside me that could only be filled by the spirit of God, and that I wanted to get back into church. After staying up all night one night talking, and researching, we decided to go to one of the local wards for Sacrament the following Sunday. Since then he has expressed an immense interest in becoming a member of the church. We have done a complete turn-around in our marriage, and we are happy. We haven't started taking the discussions yet, only because we've been working WAY too much. However, I have made a request for, starting with next month, our schedules to work around when I want us to work.

I believe that God works in mysterious ways, and that, sometimes, He may let go of one of His children to see if they can do it on their own... kinda like teaching your kid to ride a bike. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet sent by God to restore the one true church on earth.
