SUBJECT: Dial Faith for Prayer
LOCATION: Blackpool, United Kingdom
When people mentioned to prayer to me a long time ago I though instantly of The Lord's Prayer, and that was all the praying I knew. It wasn't until I was investigating the Church that the act of praying was finally explained to me. Since then prayer is as regular to me as meal times and sleep.
A while ago I prayed in sheer desperation, heartfelt, tearful and almost to the point of a breakdown that I could be given the strength to turn my life around. I had lost pretty much everything through wrong choices and was left almost destitute. My faith faultered as I reasoned that Heavenly Father would not put his children through this mess. The prayer was answered within two hours and my life began slowly to be put back on track. I know that prayer is our direct line to our Eternal Father, I know that without it we would be lost and distant from his help and guidance. Without prayer we cannot recieve answers, and without prayer we cannot expect God to hear us. I say this is in the name of our beloved brother and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen.
