Written statements of faith:

SUBJECT: Finding peace

The church blesses my life. For a time I thought I had figured everything out on my own, and didn't want to be part of a "flawed organization" founded on unbelievable doctrine. But I've come to my senses, and let the Lord back into my life. The gospel, at its most fundamental, is a wonderful guide for living. It allows us to learn about Heavenly Father, and to experience the spirit daily. I love reading the Book of Mormon. And I believe that in a nutshell the BOM teaches us how to live faithfully amidst adversity. If you boil it all down, that's what it's about. We live by faith, not knowing all the answers, but trusting in the Lord to reveal, and to heal us. Trusting God brings us great joy and peace. It's not easy to live by faith. So many times our faith will be tried and tested, just as the early Christians, the Mormon pioneers, and the faithful prophets in the Bible and Book of Mormon. I'm thankful for the humility I've gained by returning to the church, by feeling the spirit again in my life, and observing the wonderful faithful members of the LDS Church. It's great to be Home Again.
