SUBJECT: The Church Is True
LOCATION: Monroe, United States
I have many personal beliefs but they all boil down to my belief that the church of jesus christ of latter day saints is true. And we hear this all the time during sacrament meeting, and especially on fast sundays, but that is because we each truly believe it. I'm a recent convert to the church and I can still remember the first things I learned about it. It was the plan of salvation. Having been of the Catholic faith prior to being baptized, I was taught that there is only a Heaven and a Hell, but I had always thought differently. I am very blessed to have been introduced to the church at the very moment that I was. My life has changed dramatically, and I see now that it will never stop changing (for the better) if I follow Heavenly Father's plan. It truly is a plan of "happiness". All the teachings of the church are true, but please do not get that mixed up with the members of the church. We are not perfect, and because of that, we may make mistakes. The members of the church are not perfect, but the church itself is. And I count on that, and it has instilled faith in me. I finally have something to have faith in, and it is much more than the idea of a god, but it is now the truth of a loving and caring Heavenly Father.
