SUBJECT: My Statement of Faith
LOCATION: Smiths Falls, Canada
I came to the Saints only two years ago. I had met my husband on line playing a war game of all things. I don't think I knew he was a Mormon until we actually met face to face. He believed so strongly that I contacted the church to send me a copy of the Book of Mormon since he didn't have his scriptures with him. You can imagine my shock when the Elders showed up at the door and they were younger than my children.
Tom and I had many discussions about the church, plus the missionaries kept visiting. One day while we were out walking my dog I was told that we had to be sealed. It just hit me right there on the sidewalk. Even before converting the Holy Spirit was talking to me.
I took my classes, changed a couple of things about myself and was baptised in June two years ago. My husband and I were married a month later.
We are being sealed on June 9th and I am very happy.
