SUBJECT: First Visit to the Temple
LOCATION: Newchapel, England
On June 2nd, my wife and I made our way to the London, England Temple. We were super nervous. We were not really sure what to expect. We had taken the Temple Prep class, and talked with countless members who told us how wonderful the experience would be. Yet, we were still nervous, I mean you should be right? You are going into a situation that you know almost nothing about...

Well, I will say that it was a wonderful experience. My wife and I were sealed together for time and eternity. Think about those words.Sealed together for time and all eternity. That is not a small statement. Yes, she is stuck with me. For time and all eternity. I still cannot believe I am sealed to my best friend and spouse. The amount of comfort this brings us is hard to put into words. I am in the military, and the military lifestyle is hard to predict. But it is nice knowing that in the long run, we will always be together.

It was a ward temple day, so we had the opportunity to see a family get sealed after us. They had lost children earlier in their marriage, so there was much sadness because of that. But we witnesed the healing that they received when their family was sealed together. The father delivered a heart wrenching testimony this morning about how he knew he would see his lost children in heaven now. Even the hardest heart would be softened by that expression of pure love and joy.

I just want to take this moment to express my eternal gratitude to Heavenly Father for allowing such a blessing to occur. My sincerely hope that all who read this go to a temple some day if they have never been. God bless,
