For years I lived in a marriage with a man who soon after the wedding informed me that he was uncomfortable with the temple. Though I thought it didn't affect me, I spent years standing up for the temple only to realize I was not letting myself enjoy the blessings because I didn't want to go alone. For several months now my testimony of the temple has blossomed and I know now more than ever that this is where we go to seal our faith in God. We give up our own will, the world and everything else when we faithfully attend and remember that we are not of the world. We merely live in it. Anyone who is struggling with trials, addictions, or other ailments, you will find your peace when you surrender your will to Heavenly Father and visit his house often. So many are willing to go only so far and then stop right before the last step. Don't be afraid of the temple. It is not a worldly place. It is God's place and he wants you there.
