Written Testimonies:

SUBJECT: My testimony
LOCATION: Texas, United States
I grew up in the church. I never really cared about listening untill I was a teenager and had made some mistakes. I wanted to find out what was truth and was willing to except anything. I visited differant churches. The other churches had a part of the truth but did not really make since to me. The LDS church made since but I hate the polygamy stuff. I prayed to know the truth. I got my answer from feeling the spirit through out various times. I still have to pray and get reminded with the spirit sometimes but I know that this is the true church. I even got a confermation about the polygamy stuff that I hate and cannot understand. I know that Joseph Smith was chosen to restore the gospel to the earth because it took a very strong person to go through the things that he did. I am very thankful that I have the gospel. Feeling the Holy Ghost has helped me so many times. I used to not understand when people would say that they love Heavenly Father and Jesus but now that I feel I have come close to them, I can say that I love Heavenly Father and Jesus and I am so thankful for this gospel.
