Written statements of faith:

SUBJECT: My Testimony
LOCATION: Bairki, Tarawa, Kiribati
My testimony start like this, I was baptised to this church in the year 2000 but my husband who was a member was inactive... a drunker, and smoke.

I gain my testimony when I prayed for my husband to come back to church so that we as family be together. I asked my friends who are members to teach me to fast and to pray. I was raised as a catholic so prayer is my problem.

I began to fast and prayed, at first i thought that Heavenly Father didnt hear my prayers..but i never give hope...I prayed and fasted for almost two years...not just that but i also pay tithing, my first time too... I did all those things for almost two years. I tried my very best to be humble. I didnt know how my husband changed as the years went by my husband showed some changes in his life. He attended church with me and our kids.. attended church activity and little by little he quit alcohol, and later on quit smoking. A year later he was giving a calling as a second councillor.

Im so grateful for my husband as he is active again... He is a man of great faith...
The happiest thing is that my husband is serving as the Bishop...lol can u believe that!!!! Only have Faith in Jesus Christ..do whatever is needed in this church...and u will gain strong testimony...
