SUBJECT: The truthfulness of the Gospel
LOCATION: Westport, New Zealand
I am grateful for the opportunity to share my testimony on this web site. I live on the south island of New Zealand in the Nelson District, Westport Branch. But originally I come from Colorado, USA. I know that the gospel as found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that Heavenly Father loves and is mindful of each of us. He desires to have us return with our families to Him some day. I am grateful for His plan and for my Saviour, Jesus Christ. I know the healing power of the Atonement is real which gives me hope and encourages me to move forward. Their love for me is evident in everything I see and experience--even during the hard times--that I may learn the lessons meant for me, increase my faith and serve others. I am grateful for this knowledge that has come to me through the gentle teachings of the Holy Spirit--spirit to spirit. The Holy Ghost is my connection to the Father and I try to live that I may have the Lord's promise to always have His Spirit to be with me. I know that the true keys of the Priesthood are found in this church. The ordinances we participate in are real and have special meaning. The scriptures and modern-day prophets and apostles are blessing from our Heavenly Father for our benefit to help us find happiness in this life and the life to come, if we would follow their words. This is my witness, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
