Written statements of faith:

SUBJECT: MrNirom's Testimony
LOCATION: Clatskanie, United States
When I joined the Church it wasn't Joseph Smith's first vision or the Book of Mormon that I received a testimony of. It was the prinicipal of Eternal Marriage. I was told.. in my mind.. that it was true. Later came the Book of Mormon and the Prophet. The Church was easy for me to accept. I have always been a logical type of guy. And there is no defining logic when you are told it is true. It reminds me of the time I was cruzing down the interstate.. not paying attention to my speed.. the CD player was blasting away full blast and the windows were down with the air rushing in. I was in a different world. All of a sudden, withour warning.. I heard this voice say, in my head.. SLOW DOWN. I immediatly stepped on the brakes as I was cresting the top of a hill. As I came over the top.. there was a state trooper on the side of the road with radar. I looked at my speedometer and was quite surprised to find myself doing the speed limit. It would not have been so just 5 seconds before. It was that same kind of voice that told me I was doing the right thing by joining this Church.
