Written statements of faith:

SUBJECT: A Miracle
LOCATION: Las Vegas, United States
Im 38yrs old. For 20yrs I had been a DRUG ADDICT. Addicted to "speed". Ive always prayed asking GOD for forgivness being an addict. I also prayed and asked GOD which church to belong to, I didnt want to be deceived. The next day the "elders" knocked on my door. I remembered my prayer and knew this was the answer to it. I confessed my problem to the "elders", they didnt judge me or give up on me. They came often to give me lessons. I so desired to be baptised ( the elders had been visiting me for about 4 yrs at this time) and I was at the end of my thoughts, boiling in humiliation, depression. I finally did something different. I "switched agencys" instead of calling my drug dealer as usual, I got on my knees and called unto GOD asking him to "MAKE ME SOBER!!!" To give me the strength to repent. I got lifted up as though a hand lifted me and I was filled with overwhelming joy! So much I forgot I was a drug addict. I learned that like a computer I needed to "refine" my prayer, instead of asking for forgivness, I asked for the strength to become sober and received it along with many other blessings. Thank you Father for all the love you give to me. I testify this as GOD my witness through JESUS CHRIST Amen. (I prayed that prayer the first week of April 2007, I got baptised June 24, 2007) Rhonda ( I got baptised into "THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST AND LATTER DAY SAINTS)
