Written statements of faith:

POSTED BY: eternalpromise516
DATE: 29.07.2008
SUBJECT: my own testimony
LOCATION: Ohio, United States
Every day that I wake up in the morning, and every day that I go to sleep, I can see the boundless blessings that our Heavenly Father provides me, both ones I prayed for and ones that are complete suprises.

Although I may not be perfect, both personally and spritually, I know that my Redeemer lives and that His word is helping me to become the person I need to be in order to return to Him one day.

I know without a doubt that those who have a sincere heart and desire and wish to pray to know if the Book of Mormon is true and if Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God, the Holy Ghost will speak to their hearts and minds to confirm those truths.

We must maintain our responsibility to keep up the constant stream of love, faith, and connection with Our Father in Heaven and not to forget Him, who speaks through the prophets of the Church to remind us that He certainly has not forgotten us, His beloved children.

There is nothing quite like having the guidance and understanding of Heavenly Father to show you the straight and narrow path that one must follow in order to return to live in His presence and be like Him one day. By following the restored gospel and placing your trust in the Lord, we will be on the only right path in discovering and knowing the truth.

I pray that everyone will open the eyes of their hearts and souls to see the glorious life that God and His Only Begotten Son have in store for us. This is my testimony and the words I have said are true, and are in reverence of our Savior. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
