Written statements of faith:

1. I want to be identified with the true Church of Jesus Christ, and it is my desire to be counted as one of the Latter-day Saints.

2. I am eager for Jesus to return in my lifetime. I am not afraid of His glory, His power and His majesty. I am not fearful of Him, nor of His judgments, for I know (yes, I believe) that He is a good, just and loving God.

3. “…they cry unto thee, to be heard of thee and not of men…” (see Alma 33:8) I believe there is substantial worth in thinking about God. I am not terrified of the Divine. I vocalize my desires skyward, in the hope that they may be fulfilled. I am wary of many a man (or woman), but I trust in the goodness of God; I know my God sees me from His vantage point; He is clear about the things that happen within, around and to me. Yes, I have this faith in the omniscience and omnipotence of God. So it is not foolish of me to ask of Jesus Christ courage to act for the benefit of oneself and others, strength to not sin, and wisdom for to govern my people, and give them taste of the goodness of God.

4. I believe I do possess talents that can serve the Church of God, magnify God and bring comfort, joy and pleasure to many persons. I hope for a calling (or callings) that square(s) nicely with the talents that I possess.

5. I believe the Book of Mormon -- the contents of which include the Book of Enos, the Book of Omni, the Book of Alma and the Book of Moroni -- to be true.
