Learning gospel principles is just the first step, after baptism, in the conversion process. It's easy to say what you believe, but the essence of a testimony is in what a person does, not what he or she says. We will be held accountable for what we say, but we will also be held accountable for what we do, whether it is in line with what we say we believe or is not. At the judgment bar there will be no asterisks, no footnotes, no addenda, no explanations. We will be judged by our works. Our works should be a reflection of what we not only believe, but what we are willing to do to embody those beliefs in our daily lives--our example, our service, our charity, our forgiveness, our obedience, our sacrifice, our dedication.
