SUBJECT: Craig Bennington's Testimony
LOCATION: Los Angeles, United States
Though I have been a member for what seems like many years, I do not forget what the Spirit felt like the first time it bore witness to me. Unfortunately, I did not get my testimony before I was baptized, but when I was in seminary and had to read the Book of Mormon. That was the first time I completely read it. When I got to Moroni, I knew that I needed to know. I prayed many times before I felt the Spirit, but I still retain that picture of kneeling down next to my bed in prayer and finally getting my answer.

Interestingly enough, I had always wanted to serve a mission even before I really obtained my own testimony. I eventually did serve a mission in the Argentina Buenos Aires Norte mission. I loved the people, the language, the food and everything. I totally enjoyed seeing the Spirit touch the lives of people and help them change for the better.

I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God-in addition to the Bible. I know that Joseph Smith is and was a prophet of the Lord and that today, President Monson is the Lord's representative on the Earth!
