SUBJECT:	Magnifying our Calling

After few months from serving as a full-time missionary, I was called in the Relief Society presidency. A call was extended through my bishop. I was very sad when he was extending it to me, I have lots of question then just like Why me? I'm still young and I was enjoying then as 2nd counselor in the youngwomen organization, or how about others, there might be more qualify than I?or What will happen to the young women organization, we are already happy together, there are many who are older than me who could serve even better. There was really a lot of question that time. I then told my bishop that I won't acccept the call for a while, let me be prepared and Fast, and I'll tell him soon. I avoided him for three weeks, he just told me that I wil soon be released in the youngwomen organization and someone will take place. I feel very sad. Honestly, those were the sleepless nights that I ever have had. I remember, when I was in the mission, I keep on following the Hymn, I'll go where you want me to go, and I was able to enjoy it without any question or murmuring. I prayed hard and fasted and ask for the forgiveness after realizing that I was very very wrong and very self-centered then. On next Sunday, I was sustained as the 2nd counselor in the wad Relief Society. I could feel a real relief and calmness that I am really called in a challenging role with the sisters. I have received an inspiration too that whom the Lord calls, the Lord qualifies and that no one can do such thing that you can do..it is only you. The time is yours and when the time has come for release there will surely be no regrets. After few months, again the whole presidency was released and I was called as the Ward Youngwomen President. It is really rewarding. I have realized too that the Lord called me in the RS presidency in preparation for the next call. I know the Lord loves me and He knows my potential. I know wherever He wants us to go and do, we can surely do it and He'll surely be there on our side as Nephi Promised in 1Nephi 3:7. I know the Book of Mormon is true. The teachings in the church are really helpful in our decision making. I know these things to be true in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
