So excited about this time in your life and the changes that have occurred--a hole filled!  Awesome!  Can you send me photo of your baptism for our MGF record, and I'm sure you'll be posting some on the site.  This is fantastic--you can email me photo at email@moregoodfoundation dot org.  Thanks, Karen (MGF Staff).  Hope your husband continues to feel the Spirit this will bring into your family and your life.  Love, K

Welcome to the site AND your baptism "to be".  This is fantastic!!!  Now, I gotta say, you will find more temptations, more struggles, more challenges as you prepare to be baptized.  There is someone who does not want you to become a Childof God.  That would be the adversary.  I felt him when I was joining the church, i felt him more as I prepared togo to the temple.  he still pops up every now and then but i know him now and he knows I know him.

Stay focused.  Pray, pray a lot.  On your knees and aloud talk with your Father in Heaven.  Then, before you get up, listen for what He wants you to know.  It will come in that "still, small voice" it will come as a deep feeling, it will come as clear as the noon day sun.  But He does hear and answer your prayers.

HI!  I enjoyed reading your intro, and look forward to hearing more of this exciting journey you are on.  There are a lot of wonderful and knowledgeable people on this site, that would be happy to answer any questions you may have.    I look forward to your up-dates!

If you have any questions and people aren't still looking at your welcome blog you can start a blog about a certain topic/question, or you can leave me a comment or email me privately.

I remember when I had 4 little ones by myself through Sac. Mtg. (my husband was in the bishopric) I often felt like I'd been through WW III -  especially on the 1 pm schedule!

You're doing great!

Ask away!

Hey.. My name is Hollie and I just joined this site today. I am a recent convert. Dont feel uncomfortable about your weight.. I have a tattoo on my neck. Imagine how i felt the first sunday I went to church and had my hair up.. i felt like everyone was looking at my neck. And yet no one has ever said anything to me about it.. never made me feel uncomfortable by thier words or actions.. i just felt uncomfortable because i knew it was something God wouldnt have wanted me to do and i had done it anyways. I think alot of times we put more on ourselves than others do. And there are all kinda of ppl in the church.. we have a member that is well over 400lbs and no more than 5'4.. we also have a memeber about 6'4 and MAYBE 150... we are all brothers and sisters.. so we dont care what you look like .. we care that you share the same goal in life as we do.. and that you know the truths of the gospel.

okay i am rambling.. good luck with the missionaires

Welcome to this site MaybeinNH.  I hope you enjoy yourself here and use all this site has to offer.  I’m only a guest here and not LDS.  Many of us would like to learn more about you.  :)  Set up your page so we can see your own unique style and get to know you.  This link might help with that http://www.lds.net/getting-started/  If u have any questions about how to work some of this site, just ask.
