I believe and have a testimony or our Lord, Jesus Christ, as the Saviour and Redeemer of the world. I also believe and have a testimony that Joseph Smith, the founder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was a true prophet of God, a messenger in the hands of the Lord to start a marvellous and a wonderfull work among people in the latter days., in fulfillment of prophecies by the ancient prophets. The Lord visited me back in 1978,  three years before I learned about the Church, and then gave me a testimony of the reality of his great sacrifice and Atonement. He guided me to the Church when I found a copy of the Book of Mormon on a library in 1981. I took it with me home and started reading in it, and while I read it the Holy Spirit testified to my sould that it had come from our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I then contacted the Church and were soon baptized as a member in october 1981. The Book of Mormon has had a remarkable influence in my life. I thank God for all the good things in my live - the Churc my wife and 5 children, for my brothers and sisters in the Gospel. Those most important things which brings most joy into life. I also know that the Church is lead by a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, as it has been ever since it started in 1830.
