Currently reading Odds Are, You're Going to be Exalted by Alonzo L. Gaskill. So far a good book.

Finished reading Believing Christ by Stephen Robinson. This is such a good book about what our intimate relationship with our Saviour really is. If you feel you have to live a perfect life all the time and there is no hope, this book is for you.

Work and the Glory part 1. The Sixth Sense. Ironman. Singing in the Rain. (I know, that's an old one but still great dancing by Gene Kelly and great musical entertainment.) Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

I enjoy ballroom dancing but I haven't danced in a long time. East coast swing, fox trot and waltz are my favorite.

I love to play chess. Chess is like an art. Once you start appreciating it, you can't ignore it. It becomes a thing of beauty. The more you play, the more beauty you are able to see. Now if only I could play it that way.

I am originally from Glasgow, Scotland but left there for the USA when I was seven.

I have a wonderful wife and three great sons, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. Joined the church over 35 years ago and have always been active. Love the church, after all it is the Lord's church.

Glad you joined this site. I hope you will enjoy the people here and what they  share with us as I have. And thank you for posting.

Thank you.  I've enjoyed it so far.  I'm not real familiar with all this internet forum stuff, but i'm slowly learning.  I notice you do ballroom dancing.  I've always wanted to learn.  Do you know of any resources that could get me started?

Hi there.

Glad to link up as friends. You're the second person I've met here at lds.net that uses hubpages. I've only seen it once. I am more familiar with blogspot. But here, hubpages seem to be more popular. So many choices.

So many nice people on LDS.net to meet and link up with. I too love to read church books so I guess I'm one of those nerds too! I will have to check out the book of seals to see what it is like.

Nice to be friends!  I know you will love the Book of Seals.  It is a wonderful read.  I love to write on Hubpages it is a great place for the church to gain exposure.  My friend is LDSNana and she writes a lot about the church on Hubpages as well.
