When we recall the past, we usually find that it is the simplest things - not the great occasions - that in retrospect give off the greatest glow of happiness. Bob Hope If you haven't any charity in your heart, you have the worst kind of heart trouble. Bob Hope

I recently read a book called "Faith Among Shadows" by Malcolm Leal. Excellent book that I highly recommend to everyone.

I pretty much like anything written by Sidney Sheldon and Robin Cook.

I LOVE music and love to sing. I currently belong to a musical group called The Sterling Singers. A sample of our work is on my playlist.

Give me the oldie groups. Styx, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Queen, Kansas. I'm sure I'll think of more. I'm also into the Wolfe Tones which is a group from Ireland. Also Aretha Franklin is the woman!!! I love her. Also enjoy Josh Groban and Rascal Flatts.

My favorite movie of all is "Remember the Titans." I also enjoyed Schindlers List and Rwanda. I enjoy movies that are based on actual happenings. Last one I saw was "We are Marshall. Another favorite would be Steel Magnolias. I now have to add The Blind Side as one of my all time favorites.

Since I work 60-70 hours a week it seems I have very little time for hobbies anymore. I enjoy scrapbooking and counted cross stitch. I love reading and music. I love long road trips. Never get tired of the drive. Just wish I could do them more often. I have started collecting early 80's memorabilia for the San Diego Chargers and San Diego Padres. Gotta keep me off of Ebay on that hobby.

Let the new football season begin. GOOOOOOO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!

I'm a single mother of 3 teenagers. Yikes!!! I live in Utah but those that know me know I will always consider San Diego to be my home. Avid Chargers fan!!! I've been associated with lds.net for 10 years. My favorite vacation spot is (drum roll) you guessed it...San Diego!!!

I've had the opportunity to live in 7 states including Alaska and Hawaii. Lived the Navy life until I moved to Utah 14 years ago. In fact I worked for the Navy for 18 years (as a civilian). I even had the most wonderful of opportunies to fly out to a Navy carrier while they were at sea. So I've done the arrested landing and the catapult launch off the ship. Talk about a rush!!!!

Hi Pam, How are you doing? i hope all is well with you. if you like i can help you with your Spanish? it is not hard at all and you will be surprise how it comes in handy. i will look into that movie. it sounds very interesting. thank you for recommending it to me. how long have you been an LDS? i learned about the Church through my Brother in 2003 or 2004. he and his family are members and i even got to go to Temple Square in Salt Lake City. i really enjoy that place and i hope one day to go back and visit again. i didn't really take the Church serious until just this year. there is much to learn and i often hear about Seminary and i wish there was one for newbies like me who want to learn what everyone already knows. can you recommend a few books for a newbie like me? thank you. take care................José.

Hola pam,¿como esta tu? do you speak Spanish? if so, where did you learn it? i hope all is well for you. have you ever read: Our Search for happiness by Elder Ballard? i am reading it again for the second time. if you haven't read it i would suggest that you pick up a copy and read it. also i would suggest: The miracle of Forgiveness by Spencer W. Kimball. also if you are looking for a LDS movie that will make you cry i would recommend: Charlie. for something with humor: The Single's Ward. take care may Heavenly Father bless you.............José.

Well it is adorable. I hope you get one..but can they even be kept as pets?

It depends on where you live. They're illegal in California, Georgia, New York, NY, and permits are required a few other places.
