Hi peano3,
I was wondering if you could take a moment and watch this video of Elder Holland talking about God's Words Never Cease. Be sure to add a rating and comment. Thank you so much!

SUMMERY ON HOW I FOUND THE CHURCH A TRUE STORY

Before i was in the church i had never believed in God or any religion , in fact i was with an outlaw motorcycle club, where  anything went, some people classed the club as an hells angel motorcycle club, I will leave it at that

in 1987 there had been a bad fight in the town i lived in  my real brother (ALAN)who was younger than me , had been beaten up badley, as a result he ended up in hospital for 9 months before he died, about 3 weeks before his death my best mate died in his sleep, and a few weeks after the funneral of alan (my brother) another freind of mine died, killed in a shooting accident ??, after these deaths i began to wander if there was a life after death where i might meet up with these guys if i were to ever die(??? death comes to all)       I began to ask people if they thought there was a life after death, i found that people were answering  who cares just get wrecked and let tommorow take care of it selve, other people said no some did not know and some said yes

i met a jahovvas witness who said that there was a life after death and that i need this book to read(the bible)i took it because it was free without the intentions of reading it,about 2 years after the death of my brother and freinds ,i moved from the midlands south to devon uk ,(that is another story how i got down here and why) where about 6 years later there was this hymn on tv, which reminded me of my brothers funneral, there was a prayer there that day and  i thought  it was in that book that girl gave me(the bible) i searched for it, in the hope i could find that prayer( the lords prayer) i opened the bible for the first time , it went to John 14, and read the first 3 verses and seemed to understand them , and more so it answered a question of is there life after death and a place where i might meet my friends and brother when i die , i decided that i should carry on reading the scruiptures, and began to prayer, then i read mark 13 and thought wow this is about today , as i read i began to tell people about what i was reading , they thought  i was wierd , (yep so what )i knew that what i was reading was true, i began to think that there was no one on  earth that believed in the stuff(bible) that i was reading and that i was the only one who knew, which i could not believe , other wise it would just be me God ,Jesus Christ and the holy Ghost, that knew what i was reading,, i remember asking God

that if there was anyone in the world who believed in you and the bible and the things i believe in, the lead me to them, as i cannot find them and i dont believe i am the only one in the world that knows this stuff amen

that was the verry first prayer i had said that i can remember, the following night i was sent home early from work , and saw two women chatting to a freind , they looked stressed so i interuppted, rich(my freind)said here you are phil these are up your street, they are your kind of people, they introduced themselves as sister bassett and sister white, that they were missionaries from the lds church, i had never heard of that church nore the mormons, until that night , they told me the church was in paignton and where it was, that was on the thursday august 2000, i went to the church on the 1st of september 2000, i was baptised in febuary 2001, i have missed 8 days since being in the church , when i was in the temple london, the first person i was baptised for was my brother

this is a summery and not the full story of all the things that have happened leading to me becomming a member of the church and since

i am now the elders chorum president which i cant get used to people calling me president

i know that Jesus Christ walked on the earth that this church is restored and that the doors are opened to all
