I love the writing of "Catherine Cookson" a British writer. Also like Helen Forrester. But my fave of all time is the vet known as James Herriot who wrote about his veterinary experiences in Northern England. He also had the TV series "All Creature great and Small".
I also loves thestory of Anne of Green Cables. And I love good LDS books that life and inspire.

Easy on the ears, but some times some thing to make me move, some thing to dance too. My music types really vary.

Anything up lifting, and really also like documentaries.

Anything to do with horses. Craft making, light sewing and reading. Don't have too much free time to indulge in hobbies.

Hi peoples. I Hail from the great shores of Great Britain, but some how found myself transplanted to a hot and humid climate called TEXAS, where I also find myself married to a man who hails from these parts! Now you know where I'm from and that I am married you may want to know about my dearest daughter (in fact my only child)who is a product of my former marriage. She is a delight and a sweet girl, also married herself. She has not made me a "Nana" yet, but I'm sure will do so one day.
I'm a convert to the church of many years (joined as a 15 year old in England). Still keep in touch with my "Elders". They have been to many important events in my life, like going to the temple for my endowments.
My husband and I own and run a Horse Rescue and Animal Sanctuary here in Texas. He still has his day time job which pays for "our hobby" and I stay home to look after all our 4 legged babies. This is very rewarding but also at times is very heartbreaking. You can see the animals we help and love at www.creeksidefarmhorserescue.org please be warned some of the pictures can be upsetting.
I found lds talk in Aug 2000 after recovering from a surgery, and made many friends on here. They were my life line at the time, since the outside world was too far for me to venture out too.

Hi new friend, I love the bright colors!  My son served his mission in the Dallas Texas mission, so I have a soft spot in my heart for Texans.  I know you are British, but once a part of Texas you just seem to have to become committed to it don't you?  lol

Hi fellow Brit

I saw your post on my thread (Us funny Brits) - I wish I could send you some pie and chips lol - That's probably what I'm making for dinner tonight

Where are you originally from then? I can see that you served your mission here in the London South Mission. That's where I live. I've lived here for 10 years now. Before that I lived in Denmark.

Anyways, I just wanted to pop by and say hiya
