Anything fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction... maybe even a little romance here and there. I'm a lover of books. A trait that my son has inherited. He is avidly working his way through the "Series of Unfortunate Events" right now.

I'm not really one for much of that hard stuff. No rap, rock, hip hop, pop... I guess I'm not very trendy. Walking into my home you would usually hear classical or lds a capella groups. I'm a sucker for InsideOut, I have to admit.

I'll watch pretty much anything as long as its clean. I have never seen an R rated movie in my life, and only a few PG-13 that came with high recommendation. Most of the movies I have watched lately though have been ones that are appealing to a four year old.

I love to hang with my kid. We go hiking and camping frequently. I enjoy reading, and more especially writing. I'm working on a book of my own that I'm hoping to get published within the next year. Only time will tell I guess.

Its hard to say anything about me without mentioning my son. He is the light of my life. He's the greatest kid ever in my opinion; however there may be some slight parental bias in that statement. His mother passed away about two years ago, I'm looking forward to being with her again for eternity, although the momentary separation can be difficult. I'm currently working for my father's construction company, but I don't know how much longer I'll keep on here. I'm considering looking for a new job. We'll see what happens.
