The funeral will be on Monday. I will be attending. I have a nice 28 hour flight ahead of me.
This is not going to be long.... ...we were in a very heavy fire fight with 4 combatants in the very north of the NAG (North Arabian Gulf aka Persian Gulf). We were hitching a ride on a Mark-V when we were suprised to find ourselfs being shot at by these 4 combatants. I've been in the area of Tuz Khurmatu for the last little while. It was about 2315 and I was getting things ready for the nights "events". Before missions I always go over my gear and make sure my weapons are clean and working properly.
