This is a choice experience that taught me more about the Christian qualities of patience, faith, hope, and love. It is taken from my book and occurred just before I was selected to carry the 2002 Olympic Torch.  It tries to show how God will help us learn how to truly love our fellowman. I wrote this years ago after I was completely paralyzed.  I was trying to relearn to write while attending college. It was an experiment in writing.   I’ve always valued the gift of friendship with another person and I know many of you do as well.  The word angel is meant for all good people.
