Look to the light
Posted On 03/19/2009 23:40:16 by Aurorasungem

Sometimes in life we find things that inspire us, uplift us, and give us new paths and ways of looking at things.  Sometimes we see things that are terrible, horrors, nightmares, things that no one would wish to see in their darkest dreams.   I find that sometimes you look at life and wonder just where things went wrong, and then look again and see the little things that are still so right with life.  God does not want us to live in the dark, he does not want us to live in... Come What May

In the most recent General Conference, Elder Wirthlin gave a talk titled, "Come What May and Love it."  I loved this talk.  It reminded me that life is not just to be endured, but enjoyed.  There are so many trials and hurdles in life but we must not give up!  In order to do this, we must be filled with hope.  Hope that everything will work out right; hope that God is in control; hope in Christ's atonement.  We must be happy, rely upon the Savior and make the most o... I listen to the laughter of the children

I hear the sceams and torments of each war

I wonder at the actions of these people

and the deeds that shake me to my core

Both good and evil acts are all around us

both unimagined miracles and pain

Sometimes I see this earth and al... Read More

True spirit of Christ

New beginnings every day.  I looked out the window this morning and all is still and quiet for once. Oddly not many people are stirring in town just yet.  It is still pretty early though.  I keep running into walls it seems lately in the sense of life just keeps redirecting me, and I am not sure what is going on, or where it is leading me yet.  Sometimes the path can get a bit confusing.  I am trying to decide whether to move back to Gooding, or find a new place in Tw...
