As we read from the Book of Mormon tonight about the faith of Alma, Mom said she didn't have that kind of faith.  I tried to assure her that she did and more.  I said the Lord doesn't measure our faith against the mighty faith of a prophet or great leader, he sees our heart and measures the faith we have as we pray and do our best.  Any more faith is simply frosting on the cake.

I wrote this short poem back when I had long hair and the bones in my feet could support wearing sandals. Writing anything then wasn't my forte' and may still be wanting, but somehow this thought surprisingly found a way out of my heart and onto paper.
