Child-like Faith

"I invite you to become as a little child and feel again 'the great and wonderful love made manifest by the Father and the Son in the coming of the Redeemer into the world' (D&C 138:3). Childlike faith in the perfect love of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will 'divide asunder' (Helaman 3:29) Satan's snares of inadequacy, imperfection, and guilt."

The Amistad

Prompt:Please write your thoughts and reflections on the movie, The Amistad.

Response:This was such a great movie to really see the appalling treatment of the Africans brought over to America. I cannot believe how brutal they were treated. He not only brought souls to the church, he valued tho... Read More

I didn’t tell her I had made a mistake, because now we were friends. Later, as I walked away, I hoped she was better for our meeting, because I certainly was. I was grate... Read More

Adam Smith
Posted On 11/04/2009 08:06:02 by NWinger

Prompt: What was Adam Smith's contribution to the discussion on the 'Wealth of Nations'?

Response: Adam Smith says that if more people are assigned to a specific job, higher results will be produced. By assigning one person to each section of the process is more effective than having one person do it all alone. The time is used more efficiently by using an assembly line. In any procedure of manufacturing the... Read More
