As I come to the end of this day, I remember my father with gladness. In the 1980s he was an outstanding bishop of our ward in Houston TX. Being the quiet soul that I am, I admired the way that he always knew the words to inspire members of our church. He loved our Lord Jesus Christ. I saw an elderly woman in the store tonight that I thought I recognized. I touched her coat and said "Hello." To my surprise I was mistaken and it wasn't my friend.
