First, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ

They both read from the same bible but came to different conclusions.  Both prayed to the same God and saw His hand fighting for their side.


Somehow Lincoln managed, perhaps out of necessity, to look from a less authoritative position on what God's will was and just accept that both prayers couldnt' be simultaneously answered and that perhaps they didn't really know God's will.

Life in the Bible Belt

So my reading is on religious revivals in Kentucky. Let me tell you how it is now.

Conversion Power of the Book of Mormon

I want to relate a story that demonstrates the converting power of the message of the Book of Mormon.  It truly is another testament of Jesus Christ, as the subtitle proclaims.  From 2006 to 2008 I was living in southern Texas for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I was called as a missionary to preach the gospel to the people there.  Each day my assigned companion and I would head out the door and talk to anyone that we could about The Book of Mormon.
