I have been having a really hard time with life in general lately and as I was sitting here at 4:30 AM because, once again, I could not sleep, I started thinking about all the things that were wrong in my life. I am so ready to get this trip over with! Last night was the best part of my trip thus far. I had a seat to myself, it was quiet, and I didn't sweat. I have to say that this trip was a good one because I had some really good missionary experiences. The one I wrote about in the begining of this trip was powerful. It seems that lately my wife and I have had several chances to help others out. Like they were tests or something. A lot of time we feel like we are too busy to help, or that we have too much to do to spare a few minutes or that out budget is so tight that we can't help those in need. How grateful I feel for the Lord's love in answering our prayers and being merciful unto us. Mike wanted a X-Box 360 which I couldn't give him for several reasons, especially financial ones. So, he started working and selling chocolates to raise the money to buy one. He went throught the streets & businesses offering to everyone, and was selling well. When people asked him why he was selling chocolates, he answered with the truth: 'Í'm selling to raise money to buy myself a X-Box 360!"... Read More
