LDS Seminary Is A Great Way To Start Your Day
Posted On 07/09/2008 20:45:17 by InTheDoghouse
As Seminary is just around the corner, I am brought to reminisce about all the wonderful moments I have had while teaching in that capacity. Early morning Seminary is a really big challenge not only for the youth but for the teacher as well, but the blessings certainly outweigh all the sacrifice. This year the course of study in seminary is the New Testament. I love the teachings of the Savior that can be found there. I have come to realize that the New Testament is a wonderful commentary for... Read More

True spirit of Christ
Posted On 07/06/2008 09:39:54 by Aurorasungem
New beginnings every day.  I looked out the window this morning and all is still and quiet for once. Oddly not many people are stirring in town just yet.  It is still pretty early though.  I keep running into walls it seems lately in the sense of life just keeps redirecting me, and I am not sure what is going on, or where it is leading me yet.  Sometimes the path can get a bit confusing.  I am trying to decide whether to move back to Gooding, or find a new place in Twin... Prophets Speak the Will of the Lord & Counsel Us in Truth & Wisdom
Posted On 06/27/2008 15:26:25 by PapilioMemnon
I love this talk by President Eyring; it explains the importance of prophets, and the importance of following the to those who profess to believe. I have sustained several leaders of the church as prophets, seers, and revelators because I believe their were men chosen & called by the Lord to lead us at this time. Believing that, I chose to hear carefully what they say, pray about it, and ponder those things, especially the ones that seems repetitive or something I particularly don'... Read More
