To show true conversion to God and the Lamb, do I need to sit and think about following them for years? When I served a mission I was confronted by this thinking quite often. I'll admit that I'm very hesitant to share this experience with people. As often enough such experiences can be ridiculed, and torn apart. The Lord counciled us "Do not throw your pearls before swine." I feel however that I can share this story with you, as you are all either worthy members, or open minded individuals who do not mock the spiritual experiences of others. After listening and sharing these past few weeks, I sought out a copy of the Book of Mormon...and then contacted the local missionaries...and followed useful suggestions from site members regarding further information. Ok, let's just say that this year has NOT been the best year for our family- but in some ways it has been. My husband who worked for seven years at a university- giving his EVERYTHING to the university was told that he did not earn tenure because while he was an EXCELLENT professor- his research was lacking.
